We had a football skills session where we learned how to dribble, control the ball, stop the ball and score goals.

Gruffalo Crumble

As you may know before the school closed we had been doing a lot of work on 'The Gruffalo' by Julia Donaldson.  One of our activites was to write a recipe for Gruffalo Crumble.  We had to write out the ingredients needed and the utensils we would use.  Lastly we had to write clear instructions on how to make it.  Once we had our recipes, the real work began.....making our own Gruffalo Crumble Cakes! We had lots of fun making them but perhaps more fun eating them!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to you all. We have had a very settled and hard working start to the new year. We are very excited to have Miss Foster working with us in P1 until the Easter holidays.  Miss Foster is in her final year of teacher training at university. Slight change to our timetable - PE is on a Tuesday afternoon and a Friday morning with Mrs Cairney. This month we will be learning all about Scotland and maybe learning some Gaelic phrases and songs for our Scottish afternoon on Friday 31st January.
