Weeks 3 and 4

Lots of work going on during these 2 weeks.  Week 3 was a revision week for Jolly Phonics and we learned 'c', 'b' and 'k' in week 4.
We had lots of  active tasks for Numeracy and enjoyed picking a bag and completing the task inside it.  We also continued to use our sorting skills.
We read, matched and sorted our common words in our tuff tray.
We used loads of skills during our play. We used team work, design, creativity, planning, inventing, sharing, imagining, writing, numeracy, fine motor and so many more.

I am making a volcano and it is going to erupt! The lava is going everywhere!

We all worked together to create this design using the red cups.  Teamwork makes the dream work!!

We invented our own long jump game.  You have to jump, measure how far you have jumped, draw a line and write your name - Numeracy, Literacy, Health and Wellbeing all happening during play and led by the children! Learning through Play is the best.

We invented another game.  We built a ramp, then wrote numbers on a sheet of paper. We rolled the cars down the ramp and made a note of which number they stopped at.  Science, Technology, Numeracy and creativity again all child led and through play.

I made a house!
